Shunbun no Hi Festival

Shunbun no Hi, or in English, the vernal equinox, is a peaceful holiday that marks the official end of winter and the start of warmer weather. The humidity of the summer has yet to arrive and the crispness of the winter still lingers, mixing with the clean floral scents of spring. Before the sakura flower can steal the stage (in the late spring), the plum blossoms set the stage. Slightly darker in color then their more famous counterpart, they are no less abundant or beautiful, dotting the horizon with it's vivid color; the days are fresh and full of new life.

A festival to celebrate Shunbun no Hi is being held in Hi no Kuni, and an invite has been sent around the world for all to join in.
