STRENGTHS:
Genjutsu Resistance: A keen student of logic and observation, Shirami is able to strongly resist techniques designed to confuse human senses. His kikaichu, being insects, are also completely immune to such techniques.
Adaptability: Like his bugs, Shirami has the ability to quickly analyse and adapt. Aways seeking meaning in the smallest of actions; he is an expert at recognising occurring patterns in nature, and also in people.

WEAKNESSES:
Poison: Although his new biology renders him capable of surviving extended periods without oxygen, or even underwater, it also leaves him vulnerable to toxins and pesticides since he can no longer hold his breath in the same way that a human can. If his breathing tubes become blocked by poison, he will quickly die without an antidote.
Hesitation: Shirami is a very reserved person, and he dislikes violence. Unless he feels there is absolute justification for it, he will refrain from striking a blow upon an enemy if there is a chance it might be fatal to them.[/ul][/blockquote]

TECHNIQUES:
The defining technique of the Aburame Clan; Shirami’s body is converted into a hive for a breed of parasitic insects that feed on chakra. Descended from the same swarms that his ancestors were host to, they act in symbiosis with his body, responding to his summons when bidden and protecting him in exchange for feeding on his reserves of chakra and using his body.
Mushi Bunshin no Jutsu
Instead of using a portion of his own chakra, this cloning technique creates an exact likeness of Shirami out of a portion of his swarm. Capable of surviving independently for several hours, the clone can quickly reshape and reform itself if damaged. Allowing it to better serve as an effective decoy.
Hijutsu: Mushimayu
By wrapping himself in a cocoon of chakra, this Aburame technique allows Shirami to rapidly accelerate the breeding process of the kikaichu at the cost of remaining locked in a state of concentration. Using this technique however, it is possible to rapidly replenish a large number of insects lost in combat, or to bolster an attacking force with the addition of overwhelming numbers.
Mushi Jamingu no Jutsu
If under threat from sensor-type ninja, Shirami will spread a number of his kikaichu out over a vast area randomly. Clustering into groups, they then emit a small amount of his chakra, creating multiple anomalous readings and false signals to confuse and trick the keen senses of anyone looking for him.
Shōshagan no Jutsu
A last resort technique. In order to better conceal himself, Shirami may steal the face and voice of another person by placing his hands upon them, killing them in the process. The disguise created is perfect in every detail - but the secondary layer of skin can be ripped away from his face by damage.[/ul][/blockquote]
