Uzumaki Naruto’s blonde locks were inherited directly from those of his father, the Yondaime Hokage. Their styles, though similar differ in small ways. Naruto keeps his hair cropped relatively short. Some ninja would claim that it gives tactical advantages, and allows freedom of movement, but Naruto simply enjoys the way it looks when his forehead protector is on. It is obvious that combing his hair is not a priority to the Uzumaki boy, as his hair tends to stand up at all angles no matter the occasion. This does not mean that he is not hygienic. The young man’s corn silk yellow hair generally smells of citrus, but after a long day, Naruto will be the first to admit when he’s smelling funky.

Eyes:.

The eyes are the windows to the soul, and Naruto’s are bright blue eyes that allow one to peer deep down into an untainted spirit. The boy’s very expressive, cerulean irises are large, but fit his face well. Uzumaki Naruto’s eyes are often subject to change however, as Naruto activates the various abilities within his repertoire. While in Tailed-Beast Mode, the boy’s pupils become vicious animalistic slits encased within a blood-red iris. Sage Mode causes Naruto’s eyes to take on a dark yellow hue with the strange square irises seen in many species of frog. Naruto’s Kyubi Chakra Mode unlock his most striking appearance, and also cause his eyes to become a vibrant orange that almost glow with his inner light.

Physical Decription:.

The body of Uzumaki Naruto is unremarkable as far as the bodies of people his age are considered, at least for ninja. His muscles are finely honed for the shinobi-lifestyle that he leads, but he is neither exceptionally tall, nor exceptionally short for one his age. His skin is clear and lightly tanned by long hours under the hot sun, and due to the regenerative nature of the demon sealed within him, Naruto bears no scars on his finely chiseled body. Like his eyes though, Naruto’s body is capable of going through many shifts and changes. The bestial mode of the unsealed Kyubi causes Naruto to shroud himself in bubbling red chakra, with elongated finger-nails and a feral look, while the Kyubi Chakra Mode grants him a visage that is heavenly to behold, as he glows with bright yellow light from every inch of his form.

Naruto's style has changed much since the days of his childhood, when he wore the brightest colors he could find in the hopes of attracting attention from the people around him. While Naruto is still partial to the color orange, he rarely wears it these days. His outfit varies while at home or out on the town, but the young man has a particular disdain for wearing shoes and prefers to go bare foot if he can help it. Uzumaki's mission attire has become relatively static though, he dons one of the village provided flak jackets, usually granted to the Chunin and Jounin of the village on top of the deep, navy blue shirt and trousers that mark the ninjas of Konohagakure No Sato. Of course, he steal dreams of one day wearing that stupid Hokage's hat.

The boy who has come to be known world-wide as Uzumaki Naruto deserves no real introduction for he is the kind of fellow to do that himself, and at great length. In his younger days many people confused this kind of cocky-ness for arrogance, but in the events leading up to the Fourth Shinobi World War the people of Konohagakure No Sato came to understand that he is not simply arrogant, or brash (Well, he is brash) but he is a youth possessed with the kind of indomitable confidence that allows him to truly know that he can not be defeated by any odds. While he’s never really been asked where this kind of zen-like confidence comes from, Naruto fully believes that his God-Father Jiraiya imparted this state of mind in him during their years together.

Many have hailed Naruto to be a genius amongst his peers, but the boy, and those who know him best understand that he is at best possessed of average intelligence, and what allows him to surpass all others is that same confidence.

Naruto is a boy with great empathy for the people around him, as he has lived a hard life, and has seen friends and enemies alike fall on the field of battle, he is truly aware of what it feels like to be in pain, and to lose the things you care about. This knowledge lets him sympathize with others who are in the same position and understand better than anyone what they are going through.

For all of his sterling and powerful qualities, Uzumaki Naruto is not a perfect being. His laziness is legend amongst Konohagakure. If there is not an imminent threat to his home, his friends, or his way of life the blonde boy is incredibly slow to act and willing to complain the entire way.

Practical jokes are another of Naruto’s habits that tends to drive his friends and colleagues insane. In times of danger the young man is more serious than anyone, but when he becomes bored, he quickly resorts to playing tricks on people. While most of them are harmless, he tends to annoy without even mean to.

Uzumaki Naruto’s habit that is most likely to get him into trouble is his willingness to go to war for even the slightest offense. He has progressed by leaps and bounds since the days of his angry youth, but Naruto is still very much a physical being and if brought to the correct level of anger, his first reaction is to throw punches and for some sorry individuals, a Rasengan.

Strengths:.

Courage | Naruto is a young man who knows little fear. When it comes to his own life, he would gladly sacrifice it if it would save the lives of the people he holds dear.

Compassion | The people whom Naruto cares for are some of the most important things in the world to him, and while he knows that some would construe that as a weakness, he sees this love as a gift which makes him fight harder to protect them.

The Will Of Fire | Each ninja from Konohagakure sees 'The Will Of Fire' as something different, but each uses the ideal to better themselves and the village in which they live. For Naruto, The Will Of Fire is inspiring each new generation of ninja and making Leaf Village a place in which they can mature into the kind of ninja who will work to foster peace throughout the land.

Perseverance | Most ninja pride themselves on the fact that they won't give up no matter the odds. Uzumaki Naruto however holds incredibly true to this ideal. When he sets his mind to accomplish a task, he will see it through against all odds.

Weaknesses:.

Compassion | In the same turn that Naruto's love makes him stronger, it also makes him human, and with it comes the possible heartache of losing those loved ones. There are those who would seek to exploit Naruto's relationships in order to harm him.

Lazy | Naruto cannot help but indulge in one of his chief sins. Sloth is amongst his favorite, and Naruto has on more than one occasion been caught napping so to speak.

Brash | When there is trouble, Naruto is not above charging into danger headlong without weighing the circumstances. This trait has proven a boon before, but in most situations Naruto's drive to do the right thing has gotten him into trouble when he leaps before he looks.

Foolish | There is a time and a place for games, and it has been observed by some that Naruto hasn't learned to distinguish the differences between those times. He's gotten himself into trouble, and aggravated the wrong people with his antics.

Uzumaki Kushina | Mother | Deceased | Originally hailing from Uzushiogakure No Sato, Kushina is who Naruto takes his surname from and she died very shortly after his birth. During his training with the Kyubi, Naruto had the opportunity to meet with a remnant memory of his mother inside of him, and she aided in teaching him the powers that he now controls.

Jiraiya | God-Father | Deceased | A man who watched over Naruto like his own son. Jiraiya taught Naruto many of the skills in which he currently employs. Naruto strongly believes that if he had not met Jiraiya that he would not be half of the man that he is today.

Uzumaki Jiraiya [Jiri] | Son | Alive | After the events of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Naruto took a sabbatical from his homeland and for several years he wandered the known world. To the shock and awe of all the residents in Konohagakure No Sato, he returned with a blonde infant in tow. He claims that the baby is his son, but he has never made any mention of the child's mother to anyone, claiming that he doesn't kiss and tell.

Akimichi Sasami | Nanny | Alive | Sasami is a rather robust girl of about fourteen who hails from the Akimichi clan. Given that Naruto is a busy young man, and receives little of the time he would like to spend at home with his son, Naruto relies on Sasami's knowledge of medicine, cooking, and mothering to care for Jiri, and she is well-payed and given a place to live within his home for her work.
